Mirko Kaminski (42) is the founder, CEO and creative head of the communications agency "achtung!". The agency combines earned, paid and owned media and employs 120 communications experts from different fields. Clients include Nestlé, eBay, mobile.de, Deutsche Bahn, Sonos, Kaldewei and McCain. The agency has received a large number of awards – for example the PR REPORT Awards, German PR Awards, the NEPTUN Award and the German Award for Online Communication, amongst others.

achtung! is one of the 25 largest owner-run advertising agencies in Germany, one of the 10 largest PR agencies and one of the top 5 social media agencies. The trade magazine "Werben & Verkaufen" has recently named Kaminski one of the 100 most important communications managers. Prior to founding achtung! in 2001, Mirko Kaminski was responsible for communications at Citibank in Germany. Before that he worked as a consultant at Burson-Marsteller in Frankfurt. While studying he worked as a presenter, reporter and newscaster at R.SH, Germany's first private radio station. He was born on the Baltic island of Fehmarn and is a passionate angler.

Mirko Kaminski regularly causes a sensation with his video blog „Auf ein Wort vorm Regal" (A word in front of the shelf). He places his iPhone on a bookshelf, stands in front of it and discusses industry topics that are currently on his mind. Sometimes he condemns "exploiter agencies", sometimes he publicly cancels a bid because of unfair conditions, and sometimes he describes the future of agencies from his own point of view. The YouTube videos reach a broad audience, are regular topics in the trade
press and are heatedly discussed in blogs.
